Networking events being planned for business people that share our passion for cycling

As the director of my own business, I attend quite a few small scale 'networking' events. There's nothing wrong with that of course and, indeed, I find the occasional contact but I do see the same type of businesses time and time again.

HR, IT, Marketing, Employee Services, Web design agencies, Social Media gurus - they are always represented.  I am, however, usually the only person representing a business based on cycling!

So, I am wondering if there would be an appetite for a regular, informal networking event, for business folks that share a passion for cycling. You don't have to be connected to the cycling industry but simply enjoy getting out on two wheels.  That's a simple ice-breaker then - 'Did you get out for a ride last weekend?'

I am based in Northamptonshire, UK and would be prepared to organise an inaugural event if there is sufficient interest. I even have a venue in mind!

My initial thought is that this could be held on a quarterly basis, so that it does not become tiresome or a burden on other day-2-day activities.

Please email andy@sportivecyclecoaching.co.uk if you are interested and/or prepared to support me in this venture in some way.

Thanks!
